And, We're Off...Kroll Kitchen Reno

What a week we are having! We have been thinking about renovating the kitchen since we moved in 16 years ago. Started the process, then...well,CoVid! So, finished the design process post CoVid lockdown and did some ordering.

Last week, the cabinets arrived. And, the dumpster. So, we started demoing in anticipation of the floors that need to go down first. Then.....well, supply delays. Our flooring arrival date got pushed back a week, and then 10 days.

So, we continued to demo. First I moved EVERYTHING from the kitchen into the laundry room (the temporary kitchen) and edited. Lots of boxes to goodwill. Then, we demoed the wall separating the kitchen and family room, broke up and threw out the old flooring, and took out all the old cabinets. It's an empty shell now.

As we wait for flooring, we will be moving electrical, putting in new lighting and redoing some drywall. Decision fatigue is real as we move through making tons of small (and large) decisions.
